Spring 2024 YOUTH LACROSSE: 4th - 8th Grade Boys
The Spring season practice is underway and we're looking forward to games starting in March.
Registration for the Fall 2024 season will open this summer.

Boy's Age Groups:
- 4th & 5th graders
- 6th-8th graders
Spring Format: Full Field 10v10
KEY DATES 2024
1st practice: January 23rd
1st game: March 2nd
Last regular season game: April 27/28th
Championships: May 2nd/3rd
PRACTICES
Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:15 - 6:30 pm at Pinckneyville Middle School Turf Field,

First practice: January 232, 2024
Last practice: April 25, 2024
Practice days: every week (except Winter and Spring break)
GAMES
Opening weekend of games will be March 2nd/3rd.
Games will continue in March (9th/10th, 16th/17th, 23rd/24th).
Spring break: No Games
Games resume on April 13th/14th and continue the regular season on April 20th/21st and April 27th/28th.
End of Season Tournament will be held May 2nd/3rd (weather permitting)
Play time will depend on hard work and skill level
We compete in the Newtown Lacrosse League
Most games played on Saturdays, with a few games on Sunday afternoons, all at local parks
HOW TO REGISTER
(1) Register on the NYAA website (see registration listing at bottom of this page)
(2) Spring Lacrosse registration fee is $250
Boys Equipment needed to play:
- Helmet
- Shoulder Pads (required to be NOCSAE certified)
- Lacrosse Stick
- Arm Pads
- Gloves
- Cup
- Mouthguard
- Cleats or Turf Shoes (Football cleats are fine)
Girls Equipment needed to play:
- Goggles
- Girls Lacrosse Stick (Crosse)
- Cleats or Turf Shoes
- Mouthguard
Equipment can be purchased in a starter kit at SportStop.com, Lax.com, Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports, or Play It Again Sports. NYAA also has some rental equipment available.
